Weekly development log 2026‑W10: Connecting Search, Rendering, and Feature Control

What changed

In early March we focused on operating rich answers reliably. We reviewed and stabilized Firecrawl, cache, MCP and AI feature toggles, ES module cleanup, Mermaid, and KaTeX.

• Consolidated and reviewed web search and collection (crawl) paths.
• Clarified feature toggles that control AI and MCP behavior.
• Improved technical content rendering and module consistency.

How this week was reconstructed

The archive is incomplete for part of this week. Claims with a session are session-backed; implementation without a recovered transcript is described only from Git evidence.

We audited the available Claude Code main sessions, their proven child lineages, and the repository history. Session notes explain intent and investigation; Git remains the authority for code that actually landed.
